It was agreed at the New Year Rally that the club’s charity for 2018 would be the
Daisy Appeal, based at the Castle Hill Hospital in Hull.
The appeal is all about giving those affected faster, more accurate, diagnosis to
three of the region’s biggest killers – cancer, heart disease, and dementia. With
cures still a long way off, early diagnosis still gives us the best chance of survival.
It’s hard to think of a family that has not been affected by either cancer, heart
disease, or dementia – and that’s why the Daisy Appeal is such an important charity
because it will benefit everyone.
